Patter Fam Sauces

Fried Green Tomatoes
6 Green Tomatoes sliced
Cornstarch for dusting
1 ½ cups AP Flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
3 cups buttermilk
Canola Oil for frying
Heat oil to 375 degrees.

Dust sliced tomatoes in cornstarch and shake off any excess.

Mix Flour, Cornmeal, Salt and Pepper together.  Add buttermilk and stir until a smooth batter is accomplished.  Dredge the tomatoes in the batter and deep fry until golden brown.  Serve with Spicy Aioli
