Cheeseburger in Paradise ( serves 8)
4 pounds lean ground beef
Patter Fam Beef Rub
8 slices American cheese
8 slices Swiss Cheese
8 large sesame hamburger buns, toasted
8 strips of bacon fried
8 leaves Romaine lettuce
8 thick slices tomato
8 thick slices red onion
8 short skewers
8 Kosher dill spears
Patter Fam Jamaican Jerk Sauce
Make 16 – 8 oz. hamburger patties and season with Patter Fam Beef Rub.
Toast all the buns.
Fry burgers to Medium doneness (160 degrees). About ¾ of the way to done baste the burgers with Patter Fam Jamaican Jerk Sauce then layer one slice of American Cheese, and one slice of Swiss Cheese on top of the meat to melt.
When the burgers are done and still on the grill, place one slice of lettuce, one slice of tomato, and one slice of onion on top of the cheese. Cover with the burger top and put a skewer through the bun and into the meat. Place 1 Tablespoon of Patter Fam Jamaican Jerk Sauce on the inside of the bottom bun. With a spatula life the burger off the grill and place on the bottom bun.
Serve with thick cut French fries, spicy ketchup, and a kosher dill spear.
